- Hello David,
-
- >> I have seen that there is something called IDEFix that will
- allow you to connect a CD-ROM to a A4000 and that there is also an
- adapter that makes it possible to connect 4 units to the
- IDE-interface. Is this solution any good, I want to get
- CD32 emulation too and I read that IDEFix had that.
-
- Other than that solution I've seen that there is an IDE-interface
- called Tandeem that can handle CD-ROMS but then I need a CD-ROM
- filesystem too. What should I get in that case. I want good CD32
- emulation.

- I 've written the software for both solutions, and honestly, get
- the IDE-fix. It saves you a slot, works more reliable, uses less
- CPU time (in opposite to the TandemCD it is Interrupt driven and
- the CD32-Emulation works better), is faster and even adds features
- to your harddisk like AutoPark and allows you to use SyQuest IDE
- removeable drives.
